Pastry

Pastry & Baking is a combination of basic pastry and baking skills, our trainer will train the talent in the basics of ingredients usage & measurements and turn it into a creamy and fluffy dessert/bread. Trainers will teach talents on what causes certain baked goods to fail and how to avoid such problems.

What Is Pastry/Baking Course?

Pastry Course, as a young talent that loves the art of baking and pastry, you will need to know the basics of chemical reaction for baking. Here at WAT, our talented chefs will teach you the foolproof way of baking, providing you the guidance, skills and knowledge. So that you will be able to create edible art and modernized dessert.

Our class is 20% theory, as knowing basic theoretical knowledge is very important when it comes to baking. At the same time, knowing how to calculate costing is the key to a sustainable business should you dream of becoming a successful food entrepreneur. On the other hand, 80% of our course is practical based, you will be learning and baking pastry and dessert hands-on, and at the same time to be exposed to real-time operation, where you will be ready to embark onto your future career.

As this is an apprenticeship training program where you will be required to be attached with one of our talent adopter organization partners for 12 months paid apprenticeship attachment after your initial 6 months foundation training in order to further polish your skills, knowledge and gain industrial network which will benefit you to further advance your future career.
